Dato’ Hj. Abd Rahim began his engineering career at Kechington Little PLC, London, right after graduating with Honours. Tasked with the company’s structural design projects, he went above and beyond to provide exemplary project liaison and management capabilities, including engaging with government stakeholders and authorities.

During his time there, he was involved in multiple projects worth millions, such as the home base of J. Sainsbury Superstore in London (GBP16 million) and J. Sainsbury Superstore in Kent (GBP12 million), and the Hammersmith Energy Centre in London.

In 1993, he returned to Malaysia as a Project Coordinator and led the development of five budget hotels across the country under the banner of “Hotel Seri Malaysia”. The RM34 million worth of the project was completed within the period of 15 months. At the same time, he also facilitated the engineering of 50 hotels room for one of the hotel’s branches in Pahang.

With a strong body of work in just a few years upon graduation, Dato’ Hj. Abd Rahim then embarked on a new venture as a site manager for the development of Kenyir Lake Golf Resort, Terengganu. His responsibilities include the overall planning, designing, cost estimation, tendering, purchasing, budget control, project management, and leading a team of consultants to liaise with the state authorities.

After the project’s completion, Dato’ Hj. Abd Rahim established Aim Concept Sdn. Bhd. and has served as a Managing Director ever since. Not only did the company weather the storms of the Asia Financial Crisis in 1997 and 1998, and the Global Financial Crisis in 2008, but it managed to thrive as one of the fastest-growing, reputable Bumiputera contractors in the country.

Through his leadership, Dato Hj. Abd Rahim has inspired a culture of excellence, ingenuity, and collaboration that makes Aim Concept one of the fastest-growing Bumiputera design & build companies in the country. With his vision of seamlessly integrating technology solutions in raising the quality of construction, Aim Concept is primed for continuous success, winning numerous accolades and industry awards, including from the government’s regulatory bodies.

Dato Hj. Abd Rahim also embarked on a new journey by acquiring a public listed company PTT Synergy Bhd formally known as Grand Hoover Bhd. Dato Hj. Abd Rahim is now the Executive Chairman of PTT Synergy Bhd.

Graced with over 31 years of experience in the business, Sr. Suhaimi Hasan is no stranger to the rigorous demands and challenges of the industry. From unpredictable price increases, supply chain disruption, shortage of materials, labour, and equipment, he has tackled every challenge with perseverance and confidence.

Beginning his career as a quantity surveyor upon graduating from Reading University, England, Suhaimi progressed within the industry as a Chief Operating Officer with a well-known construction brand in the country. There, he worked on mega projects such as the twin tower head office for Bank Rakyat, Institut Kemahiran Belia Malaysia for Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, and office retrofitting for Bank Negara Malaysia.

He joined Aim Concept in 2014 as the Chief Operating Officer. His in-depth knowledge and skills in construction contractual and project management, and procurement spanning across general construction, renovation works, interior decoration works, and mega design & build construction projects, Suhaimi continues to elevate Aim Concept’s capabilities to a higher level.

Suhaimi is known for his strong analytical thinking, negotiation and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills, and natural leadership qualities. He embodies Aim Concept’s future ambitions to become the most reliable and sought-after Bumiputera construction company in the country.
